Before, Foxconn use two hand controlling foolproof safety device on mobile screen pressing molds. Which means, employees need to put both hands on designated safety device before putting product on molds, then the pressing mold start to press. If one or both hands left the sensing area, device will stop working halfway, so that to ensure fingers from being pressed. This way is safe, but it significantly reduces efficiency.

Working Theory:

The lights from emitter is directly emitted to the receiver and form light curtain protection. When the light curtain is interrupted, one signal will be formed and transmitted to the controller through signal cable. The controller will process with this signal and form a control signal, which will control the brake loop or other equipment's alarm device and realize the machine tool stop or safety alarm.
