Tips from ESPE:
When the stroke stop button or emergency stop button is normally open, open cover plate of the external controller , and connect the two wires, which are formerly connected with T and k mark, with T1 and T2 separately install internally and connect directly , and parallelly connected with machine tool stroke stop button or emergency stop button . T1 and K1 are normally open when light transmission is through, and normally close when light transmission is interrupted.
a.The connection method of T, K wire (Normally, it is not needed the back stroke non-protection )
Back stroke non-protection function is normally realized by the machine tool itself and it does not need additional wire connection. When back stroke non-protection function needs the photoelectric device to realize, wire connection can be done as the follow method. The pair of normally open contact spots of the cam switch shall be parallelly connected with T, K wire.
Note:
a. The connection spot of cam switch must be passive.
b. Both of the wrong regulating of cam angle or malfunction of cam switch will cause serious consequence. If not necessary, whole process protection should be taken as much as possible.
Application Model: Mainly applied on ELG, ESN, EB15, etc.
Working Power: DC24V 1500mA
Working State: When the light transmission is through, the green lights of both emitters and receivers are on; When the light transmission is interrupted, the red light on the receiver will be on.
Output state: When the light transmission is through, NPN signal cable outputs OV, PNP signal cable outputs 24V. The Max. drive current 200mA. When light transmission is interrupted, there will be no signal output from the PNP and PNP signal cable.
Wire connection method:
A. Emitter brown wire VCC is connected with the receiver brown wire VCC, then connected with the power +24DC.
B.The black wire GND of the emitter should be connected with the black wire GND of the receiver, then corrected with power negative pole OV.
C.The gray wire CP of the emitter should be connected with the gray wire CP of the receiver.
D. The NPN signal output of receiver blue wire is OV, and it should be connected with the negative pole of relay or PLC port.
E.The PNP output signal of receiver white wire is 24 V , and it should be connected with the relay positive pole or PLC port.
Note: If only one output signal wire, NPN or PNP is needed to be used, the other must be binded up by insulating tape in case of short-circuit.
